As of launch of this web site in December 2009, we are just formulating an organizational structure for our political coalition, the Jordan River Restoration Network.

We are at this moment in the midst of a major political campaign to pursuade Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker and the Salt Lake City Council not to install a huge new  $39 million regional sports complex on the largest remaining block of unprotected open space along the Jordan River--but rather to place it on one of 4 identified viable alternative sites.

At the moment none of us working on these issues receive any pay directly for this activity and we have been funding incidental expenses such as printing and copying, data and telecommunications costs ot of our own pockets.

We definitely need funding and would appreciate your financial support.
